Our demonstrator for the Fall was Randy McDaniel.
Randy began blacksmithing in 1973 with Marshall Crumbacker, an 81-year-old blacksmith at the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster, MD.

Randy demoed a variety of basic forging processes, also showed the process for a dragon's head, and gave a good talk on using laser cut parts for your work.

Kelly Anson did the "hands-on" workshop, the project this time was a forged knife out of 1/2" dia. W1. He had about 7 participants who were successful in making their knives.
